If somebody would like to start making zines, probably will be advised to start with a so-called “slit-book”. This type does not require any glue, staples or thread. It is made of a single sheet of paper and the folding-cutting method can be learned easily even by children.
Rachel Hazell is also starting her book with this type, noting that the pages of this small booklet consist of two sheets of paper each. This fact makes the booklet suitable for creating small pockets, cut-outs or picture-frames in it.
This is why I was looking for a story about windows, for this project. And that’s how I found Emil Isac’s poem, translated to Hungarian by Dsida Jenő. Sorry, I did not find any English translation of this poem. I could not find the original Romanian poem either.
The booklet has been modified before copies created. Added few pages.
